Jamaica
Our current operations are in Jamaica, producing psilocybin biomass that is productized into our products via our brand PATOO. It is in 28 Jamaican dispensaries, a dozen hotels and sold directly to 2 dozen retreats. PATOO has expanded its product line to include honey, capsules, and chocolate bars.
But our impact extends far beyond just supplying products. We’re also committed to supporting ongoing clinical trials through our export contract with Mydecine, a public company based in Canada with headquarters in Denver, CO. This groundbreaking partnership marked the first legal export of psilocybin on the planet, and Mydecine is currently conducting phase 2 clinical trials on smoking cessation with the University of Alberta leading the research. This was the first legal export of Psilocybin on the planet. Mydecine is currently conducting clinical trials on smoking cessation and are in phase 2 with University of Alberta leading the research.
Our target for Jamaica is to expand into the region, increase our total export business to include supply and partnership deals across the globe.
The Estate
Nestled in the hills above Runaway Bay on the North Coast of Jamaica lies Rose Hill Estate, the home of Rose Hill Health & Wellness Limited. Since 2015, our team has been cultivating and breeding multiple varieties of mushrooms, including psilocybin, and legally exporting them since 2020.
With 235 acres of land, Rose Hill Estate is one of the oldest in Jamaica, dating back to 1723 when the Great House was constructed. Although historically used for pimento cultivation, the land has been repurposed to grow organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, medical cannabis, and both functional and psychedelic mushrooms.
At Rose Hill Health & Wellness, we’re passionate about natural medicine. We believe that both cannabis and fungi have the potential to treat a wide spectrum of illnesses, from depression and PTSD to pain relief and beyond.
To expand our operations and reach, we’ve partnered with a team of researchers, chemists, operators, legal and public relations professionals in the United States. This new collaboration will allow us to continue innovating and providing high-quality, sustainable products to researchers and brands operating in legal psilocybin markets worldwide.
